This is an outstanding opportunity for a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a well-established physician in private practice. This is a state-of-the-art Rheumatology practice, currently consisting of a solo rheumatologist. Unlike many employed positions, this opportunity allows the candidate to 'get in on the ground floor' without the stress and strain of setting up a new practice infrastructure. Avoid the hassles and uncontrolled overhead of large practices or multi-specialty groups while still working in a cutting edge environment that features an Electronic Medical Record ('paperless office'), in-office infusions, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and in-office comprehensive osteoporosis evaluations (using ISCD standards) with brand new in-office DXA scanners. The practice is 100% consultative rheumatology, with no primary care patients to follow. Enjoy inpatient consultations at a Medical Center, a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital, located on a growing health care campus and easily accessible from the major interstate. The hospital has an active hospitalist service, allowing the candidate to focus on consultations, avoiding the hassles and paperwork of carrying a primary rheumatology inpatient service.
