Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, MO This facility is a 300 plus bed progressive state of the art facility located 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. The hospital is community based and one of the wealthiest community hospitals in the country. All of our surgical suites offer the latest technology. Just announced, in the latter part of 2009, they will break ground on a state of the art 85,000-square-foot Ortho/Neuro Clinic. Completion is scheduled for 2011. The cost of living and housing is far less than the surrounding St. Louis suburbs. The area offers excellent school systems and several universities are nearby. There are two Orthopedic Groups who offer a competitive salary(MGMA guidelines) with a full benefit package, paid vacation and CME allowance. A general Orthopedist or a fellowship trained surgeon or one who has a strong interest in sports medicine, foot and ankle, or upper extremity would thrive in this community.
