Obstetrics And Gynecology - Select has been asked to assist this health system in the recruitment of an additional Ob/Gyn to join the team. This opportunity is either an employment opportunity or a salary loan guarantee (we are open to both scenarios). BC or BE is required.
The practice sees some 200 deliveries each year and is doing approximately 250 Gyn surgeries each year as well. The balance of the work is in the office. Call will be 1:2 but because the deliveries are pretty light call is very manageable. The facility offers a private birthing center, with four labor, delivery, post-partum care rooms, and a level one nursery.
The community is ideal. Located less than 40 minutes from Asheville, NC and in a pristine valley surrounded by the mountains of the Pisgah National Forest. Schools are excellent and the quality of life here is among the best in the country. Shopping is great in town and if you need to power shop the malls of Asheville are a short drive away. Housing is fabulous and offers options from in town to more rural settings.
