Obstetrics And Gynecology - Fantastic OB/GYN Opportunity 30 Minutes to Charlottesville and 1 Hour to DC!
Our client in Virginia located just 30 minutes to Charlottesville and just an hour’s drive to Washington DC has asked us to assist them in the recruitment of an additional BE/BC Ob/Gyn to join an existing group.
This is a premiere group in the community and it sees on average 500 births per year and each physician is seeing on average between 30-40 patients per day. They work with one hospital only and they are in new offices which are just steps away from the only Certified Family Birthing Unit in Virginia. The program sees lower than average % of C-sections (less than 20%) and a lower % of medications for Mom. This is a partnership track and offers an excellent compensation package, sign-on bonus and a full array of benefits. Plus you will be given an opportunity to purchase shares in the Surgical Center. For your patients convenience and safety they have a close affiliation with UVA Hospital where all NICU services are provided if necessary (only 15 minutes away by air) and they also have a consulting arrangement with BC perinatologists and a telemedicine program so patients can be seen by specialists and most tests done locally and thus avoid the hassle of a drive.
The hospital is a state-of-the art facility with a new EMR system for patient records. They have 70 beds, 5 ICU beds, 2 OR’s plus a state-of-the-art surgical center.
