Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioners

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Family-NP - Family Nurse Practitioners to join an outpatient practice located in Camden County, New Jersey.

Family Nurse Practitioner to join our well respected multispecialty group of physicians and Mid-level providers. The selected candidate will join at least one physician in a practice setting servicing patients of all ages.

The selected candidate will perform ongoing clinical assessments, establish and implements plans of care for acute, chronic and preventive healthcare and evaluating that plan for effectiveness. The Nurse Practitioner will assess the educational and learning needs of the patient and strategize to meet the needs for patients and their families. The selected candidate will plan and implement care evaluating periodically for necessary changes that are necessary, and successfully acknowledging completion of treatment when possible.

Minimum required qualifications: • Successful completion of an accredited NP program • Master's Degree and NP Certification • State of New Jersey License

• Active and Current DEA and CDS • Strong listening and verbal skills • Consistent communication with physician(s) with any patient issues|concerns • Basic computer skills • Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations

Responsibilities for this opportunity include: • Conducting comprehensive and episodic health assessments by taking histories, performing physical examinations, and requesting and interpreting appropriate lab and diagnostic studies and formulating a plan of care including pharmacological and non- pharmacological treatment. Findings are to be documented in the patient’s medical record. • Participating in house staff rounds, attending physician rounds, and discharge planning rounds when inpatient privileges are awarded. • Participating in committee activities. • Performing clinically appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice and expertise as defined by position description. • Coordinating all aspects of patient care. • Providing patient and family counseling. • Coordinating referrals to other in house and outside healthcare providers when inpatient privileges are awarded. Consulting with specialists as needed to accomplish collaborative care. • Functioning as a resource to healthcare personnel and participating in their educational programs. • May perform clinical functions that are granted to all professional nurses. • Providing both an appropriate quality and quantity of care to patients, which is based within the framework of sound theoretical and clinical knowledge. Such care is age specific as defined by the scope of care. • Maintaining educational credentials appropriate to the work environment. The Nurse Practitioner is expected to share knowledge with patients, families, and colleagues. • Exhibiting organizational, communication, and leadership skills; initiative; accountability; responsibility; appropriate judgment and decision making. • The Nurse Practitioner must successfully master the annual technical skills and certifications required for the positions. Failure to meet these competencies will result in termination of Nurse Practitioner’s authorization to provide care. • Other duties as assigned.
