Job Title: Director of Nursing

Provide interim support to skilled nursing facilities as needed and assigned to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and to achieve compliance with company policies and procedures, State and Federal regulations and clinical standards of practice. Promotes the Companys core values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure facility compliance with company policies|procedures and State| Federal regulations. Provide education, system implementation and monitoring, and development of performance improvement plans in conjunction with Administrators and Directors of Nursing to promote positive resident outcomes.

Assist with training facility management including Directors of Nursing, Resident Care Manager, and licensed nurses and nursing assistants as requested, on company skilled nursing policies and procedures, and State and Federal regulations.

Provide interim DNS support as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an interim DNS, will supervise nursing staff in the building.

As the Clinical Specialist, over the course of training of a new DNS, will systematically transition supervisory responsibility to the new DNS.


EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

A current and unencumbered RN license is required in the states that Prestige Care operates or the ability to acquire one.

Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations and the survey process.

Working knowledge of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.

A minimum of three to five years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Five years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Have a current and valid drivers license and ability to travel.

Ability to work with a team, be self-directed, organized and flexible
