Job Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Orthopaedic PA - Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Fresno, CA
Currently looking for skilled Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to fill 2 openings with a growing practice near Fresno, CA. Interested candidates must have a surgical background; NP candidates must have their RNFA certification and have California licensure or be in the process of obtaining. The positions are spine and sports medicine.

Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Establish history and perform pertinent physical examination and compile medical data such as imaging results
• Order diagnostic tests such as x-ray, CT scans, MRI scans, and EMG (electromyography) tests
• Establish the diagnosis and develop|implement patient treatment plan, and continue with continuity of care
• Counsel patients regarding the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment plan
• Utilize basic musculoskeletal ultrasound techniques for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Perform procedures including venipuncture, muscle|tendon|joint injections
• First assist in surgery
Requirements of the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program
• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• At least 1 year of surgical experience for the spine position
• Current and valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in CA
• BLS|ACLS certification
• NCCPA or NP board certification
Compensation for the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
The starting annual salary for this position is $110K - $140K+ DOE
Required license or certification: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA
