Job Title: PROGRAM ANALYST

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ

Currently seeking a motivated Project Analyst for its civil aviation programs. The position requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields and 5 years of relevant experience. This position is located at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s William J. Hughes Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES|RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidate will work as part of SST’s civil aviation programs supporting the FAA projects. Project analyst support will include the following activities: (1) Lead the documentation, information, and requirements management effort for new FAA ground-based navigation acquisitions; (2) Develop and maintain requirements tractability matrices (RTMs); (3) Participate in technical meetings and requirements working group meetings by taking notes, recording action items, and publishing meeting minutes; (4) Develop and maintain a project schedule; (5) Use MS Office products, including PowerPoint and Visio, to produce presentations and hand-out materials of a highly technical nature; (6) Conduct editing and peer review on technical documentation.
• Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, which are necessary for technical reports and presentations, and work well in both group and individual assignments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any related field that include at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required
• Requires minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and|or Primavera
• Experience with DOORS
• Experience with Government Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures
• Exceptional analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and with a team
• Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder

PREFERRED|OPTIONAL SKILLS:

Familiarity with navigation and landing systems is not required but a plus
Experience with technical projects (e.g. Software or Engineering projects)
