Job Title: Laboratory Manager

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Laboratory Management/Supervisor - Full-time Laboratory Manager needed in beautiful Florida!

This is for a brand new facility opening up in the next couple months. It is a 27|7 – 364 day Emergency Center (Will equate to an 80 bed hospital). This will be a small lab and the Manager must be hands-on (benchwork) and be flexible working closely with other area in the facility. Will have 15 direct reports. This will be a small lab. Requires a Florida supervisor license and at least 3 years supervisory experience as a Med Tech Generalist.

We are seeking a person with at least 3 years of supervisor|management hospital laboratory experience
* You will open a new clinical Laboratory with a draw station
* You must be Hands-on. Work on the bench
* You must be open, bring creative, fresh and innovative ideas

* Work well with all departments in the Emergency Center
* Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills
* You MUST have high energy!

Responsible for managing all functions and providing hands-on bench assistance as needed. Coordinates activities of the technical and non-technical laboratory staff and allocates available resources to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations. Works closely with the System Director of Laboratory Services, Laboratory Medical Director and laboratory leadership team in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures. Coordinates laboratory performance improvement activities for the facility. Promotes excellent customer service and ensures laboratory services are delivered in accordance with quality and financial standards. Ensures laboratory services are delivered in compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and procedures. Participates in system leadership functions and collaborates with other leaders within their facility as a representative of the Clinical Laboratory.

B.S. or B.A. degree required. Experience: Minimum of three years supervisory or management experience required. Training: License: State of Florida Department of Health, Clinical Laboratory Supervisor Other: Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates and promotes teamwork, cooperation and excellent customer services skills.
