Job Description:

Client's mission is to ensure American school districts lead the nation in public health, health technology, and preventative care.
As a Payor SME on our Partnerships team, you will help Client grow 3x this year by supporting partnerships sales and account executives with contract negotiation and best in class service delivery, creating and refining the value proposition for payors across all current and future product lines, and supporting Operational Services Directors to refine key programs (Adolescent Well Care|Medicaid Physicals program, asthma care management, flu). Additionally, a critical part of the role is to serve as a SME to the product department for all payor-facing products and offerings, and to lead discussions and development processes with product, design, and engineering teams to develop payor reporting portal and approach.

Our SMEs are strategic specialists with deep expertise in payor priorities, fee-for-service and value-based contracting and negotiation, and conversant in revenue cycle management.
You’ll be successful if you’ve got sound payor relationships in the marketplace, can manage successfully towards value-based contracting metric, and can partner successfully with other functions (sales, product) to help achieve organizational goals.


• Become a credible expert on Client’s technology and services, pediatric healthcare, Medicaid, and the major issues faced by payors, school nurses, school health officials and school districts
• Leverage subject matter expertise to involve appropriate stakeholders throughout the sales and implementation cycle
• Build strong relationships through efficient and effective meetings while enabling sales|partnership team to be primary relationship manager
• Work with your broader Partnerships team to ensure successful implementation and adoption
• Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to develop payor portal and technology solution
• Qualifications:
• Experience inside a payor for 10+ years.
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and|or Google Apps suite, knowledge of Slack, Salesforce, and Asana is a plus
• An independent, proactive self-starter attitude with strong commitment to high-quality work, and a desire to close and win deals
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
