Job Title: Revenue Cycle Patient Services Director

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Hospital/Clinic - Patient Access Director/Manager - North Texas Hospital is seeking a Patient Business Services Director - Revenue Cycle.

Located 95 miles NE of Dallas area; 75 miles NE of McKinney and 35 miles north of Sulphur Springs

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
5+ years of previous hospital experience in all aspects of business office functions.
Knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulations for acute hospitals.
Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.

Job Summary:
Responsible for facilitating all revenue cycle functions.
Responsible for Patient Access (Scheduling, Registration, Financial Counseling), Patient Accounts
Ensures that all patients are promptly and accurately registered and the data is communicated to the appropriate areas.
Monitors the overall collection functions from third party payers as well as the patients to maximize cash flow and reimbursement.
Coordinates managed care contract negotiations, contract financial performance analysis and payer contract compliance.
Ensures proper internal hospital communication services (PBX) are provided to allow daily operations to function well.
Coordinates work process flows between the patient financial staff and ancillary personnel to provide courteous customer service.
Responsible for compliance with all State, Federal and Hospital regulations regarding billing and collection guidelines.
Ensures process issues are evaluated for compliance with hospital policy and initiates performance improvement as indicated.
Addresses complaints regarding Patient Business Services related functions and follows through with resolutions to prevent recurrences. Interfaces directly with the CFO concerning operational obstacles.
Assures adequate, yet conservative staffing. Approves personnel functions related to hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions. Responsible for the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Responsible for managing operational costs based on budget constraints.
