Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be integral in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, creating and executing personalized care plans, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position demands strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assess and evaluate patients’ health conditions, medical histories, and needs.
•Develop and implement tailored nursing care plans for each patient.
•Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
•Monitor vital signs and overall health, addressing any changes or concerns promptly.
•Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
•Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
•Ensure accurate, up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
•Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
•Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during challenging situations.
•Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
•Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
•Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
•Preferred clinical experience in areas such as ICU or Med-Surg.
•Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
