Position Overview
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) at a state-operated hospital in Indiana. In this leadership role, you will serve as a senior therapist or treatment team leader, designing and implementing individualized therapy plans, guiding staff, and ensuring alignment with patient IEP goals. Qualifications
?Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
?Licensure: Valid Indiana OT license and NBCOT certification.
?Experience: 3+ years in OT, including leadership|senior roles; hospital or clinical setting preferred.
?Technical Skills: Expertise in IEP integration, adaptive device modification, treatment planning, and documentation.
?Soft Skills: Leadership, adaptability, teamwork, mentorship, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
?Lead evaluations, develop treatment plans, and oversee therapy services for patients.
?Direct individual|group therapy aligned with IEP goals and patient needs.
?Train and mentor direct care staff on OT techniques and best practices.
?Adapt|modify therapy devices (splints, utensils) to enhance patient skills.
?Document progress, recommend future goals, and report outcomes.
?Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies.
