COMMUNITY HEALTH and MULTI-SPECIALTY CLINICS
The duties of the Physician shall include, but not be limited to, the following, as may be required by the District:
1. Rendering professional health services for family medicine patients of the Clinics.
2. Responsibility along with other duly licensed physicians assisting in assuming responsibility for the delivery of medical care at the Clinics including:
a) Ensuring the quality, availability, and expertise of medical services rendered in the Clinics, and at Clinic-related activities;
b) Supervising physician assistants and nurse practitioners (collectively referred to as “Mid-Level Practitioners”) as necessary for reimbursement; or consultant in the absence of the Medical Director for family medicine patients.
c) The coordination of medical activities of the Clinics as a whole to be accomplished through continuous communication with appropriate District administrative personnel regarding matters relating to the family medicine medical administration of the Clinics;
d) Assisting with the development of a plan for family medicine quality assurance for the Clinic;
e) Provide required chart review and audits of appropriate mid-level practitioner staff for family medicine patients.
