Job Title: Palliative Medicine Opportunity

Central     (Physician/MD qualifications required) Palliative Medicine - Central Oregon Seeking Hospice and Palliative Care Physicians for full and part time openings.

This location is world famous for both its outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty, located in Central Oregon at the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This energetic city with a growing population of over 82,000 has a need for another Physician. Majestic snow-capped peaks permeate the high-desert skyline making for some of the best weather in Oregon—think sun-drenched days and cool nights—along with endless options for plenty of play time.


SPECIALTY: Palliative Care Part Time Physician Needed

QUALIFICATIONS: Board Certified or Board Eligible in individual specialty, Fellowship Trained in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Sole provider of Palliative Care services on Campus
? Referrals are common from Cancer Center, Family Practice, Hospitalist group, and Surgical Specialists. Provider must have the flexibility and time management skills to see patients in multiple locations (in close proximity) during scheduled days
? Call is equitably shared with the 3 Palliative Care providers for the service. Call is phone contact only, no physical presence is expected.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Employment Salary

? Part-Time position, contracted for @ 24 hours per week

? Moving Expense Reimbursement: up to $10,000
? Signing loan (bonus) available
? CME $4,000 per year
? CTO (Clinic time off) three weeks per year – no rollover
? Oregon medical license, DEA and Med Staff dues paid directly by Health System

PRACTICE SETTING:

? This is a Hospital Based Practice. Provider will have a designated office space on the hospital campus as well as access to consultation rooms on the campus. Provider will perform consultations in outpatient clinics as well, primarily in the Cancer Care Clinic.
