Web description: We are located one hour and fifteen minutes from Roanoke, VA and Winston-Salem, NC, is a beautiful 100 bed hospital in a desirable location within the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a full time position for a board certified or board eligible anesthesiology|pain management and rehabilitation (PM&R, physiatry) physician to join an existing group. Board eligible for ABA testing, if trained after 2000 and successful completion of an AMG (USDOE) accredited fellowship program if trained after 2000 is a must. An accredited fellowship is required in either anesthesia or physiatry program. The candidate must possess a broad spectrum of pain management knowledge, preferably with experience in surgical stimulator implants, managing intrathecal pumps and spinal injections. The clinic treats chronic pain patients only – no acute pain. There is no hospital call, only group call, if required. Compensation varies with experience (MGMA) and is competitive. Income guarantee contract -Guaranteed salary for first year with second thru fourth year as employment with the group- base salary with bonus potential. Benefits include retirement plan (after 12 months of service), group health insurance, life and disability, Paid Time Off (vacation, CME, sick days or personal days). Student loan repayment, stipend for last year fellows, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance considered for the desired candidate.

Average Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day
