We are seeking a dynamic Board Certified|Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our existing Hospitalist program. It is expected the person accepting this position would obtain and|or maintain board certification throughout their employment. This opportunity offers a rotation of one week on and one week off with intermittent nocturnalist rotation.
The Hospitalists see all inpatients requiring hospitalist care. The Hospitalist rotations run from Friday morning through the following Thursday. The Hospitalist physicians cover inpatient rounds, admissions, discharges, and consults. Weekend call is the shared responsibility of the two on-duty Hospitalists. For weeknight call and coverage, one hospitalist member of the group will work nocturnist shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to see critical admits, ED admissions, and problems arising in patient care during the night.
