Due to the growth of the service, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in working in an out-patient setting for a community based health clinic in Abilene, Texas. The PMHNP could either work three days during the week (flexible on dates) or two days during the week and one Saturday with one Saturday per month. This position offers the Provider would work in an outpatient setting with excellent collaborating physician support. The Provider would conduct one new evaluation every hour and med|checks run every 15 to 20 minutes. The Provider would see patients with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, suicidal ideology, bi-polar disorder, as well as provide therapy to individuals dealing with grief|loss, anger and stress management, divorce recovery and other life issues. The base salary is $82,000-$122,000 (Depending Upon Experience) with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, paid malpractice insurance, CME Allowance (non-capped and approved by the Director), Paid CME time off, all licensure, dues fees and DEA covered by the practice. Signing Bonus and Relocation Allowance provided by the clinic. The CEO does strongly prefer someone that is licensed in the state of IL. This FQHC position qualifies for Federal Loan Repayment of $25,000 per year (minimum of a two year commitment required in exchange for $50,000) paid directly to the Provider’s federally qualified student loans.
