Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon Need in Alabama

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Orthopedic Surgery - A Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon is sought to join a well-known private Orthopaedic practice consisting of 7 active physicians. The practice’s primary need is Total Joint but open to considering other candidates. The opportunity consists of a two-year employment agreement leading to opportunity for partnership at the beginning of third year. Competitive signing bonus, base salary and production bonus is offered. 



The practice opportunity may also be supported by a hospital income guarantee agreement by Client ensuring the physician obtains fair market value compensation during the first two-years. Signing bonus and relocation expenses are available as well.



Employment is affiliated with a 35 provider multi-specialty clinic. Client is a 344 bed tertiary hospital providing a wide continuum of inpatient services with a fully developed ambulatory service line on campus. Alabama’s central region campus for Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM). ACOM offers physicians paid preceptor opportunities. Client is a Joint Commission accredited Stroke Center. 



The City is home to 210,000 residents. The metropolitan area serves a population of 350,000. Location has a diverse economy comprising state government, healthcare, automotive manufacturing, education (the city is home to eight colleges and universities), tourism, Maxwell Air Force Base, the Gunter Annex and military contractors.
