Certified Accountant or equivalent certification
Experience in financial management in healthcare
Proficiency in eClinicalWorks, Medisoft, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

$85,000 - $100,000 based on experience

Job Summary:

A suitable candidate should be a self-motivated, accountable, high-performer willing to work with minimal supervision in a growing Bermudian medical practice. Professionalism, strong analytical skills, initiative and resilience are some of the skills required, along with excellent technical acumen in finance and accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting and claims processes from transaction initiation, processing to account reconciliation and report generation
Prepare departmental financial reporting within stipulated deadlines and maintain financial records for the entire NMAC medical practice
Liaise with third party suppliers, consultants and claims professionals in the performance of duties
Analyze and monitor financial results, trends and performance indicators in order to make recommendations to the Managing Director and senior management
Assist in preparation of material for staff, management and Board meetings
Handle payroll-related matters and commission payments
Coordinate the annual inventory count and cost management for the NMAC lines of business
Promote the mission, values and vision of NMAC and ensure the highest standards of professionalism are maintained at all times in the performance of duties.
Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding confidentiality and ethical business practices
Ability to work overtime to meet role requirements
Special projects and duties as assigned by the Medical Director
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm with some flexibility
