Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Hospital/Clinic - Administrator/Medical Director - Executive Assistant to CEO needed for FT, perm opportunity in Arlington, TX!

DUTIES:

Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer specifically as well as Senior Management Team.  This position makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the Hospital.  Coordinates administration office activities and staff.  Performs all services as they may relate to the Hospital Administration Department as well as additional tasks|activities as assigned.

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer assumes responsibility for coordination of administrative office functions; maintains effective communication systems; demonstrates skill in use of office equipment; demonstrates ability to perform work functions in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Degree or GED required.  College degree preferred. 

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five (5) years secretarial experience, preferably in a hospital setting in an Administrative or Executive Office.

Candidate MUST  have C Suite Experience.

Candidate must be currently employed.

General Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS

Requires frequent walking from department to department: requires sitting at a work-station or desk;  requires standing; work may include occasional pushing and|or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 20 lb., such as files, documents and computer printouts.  Work requires finger dexterity and eye hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.

In constant contact with patients, unit personnel, and physicians.  Contact also extends to other hospital staff, patients' families, volunteers, visitors and community leadership.  Requires the ability to listen and interact effectively in order to identify and meet customer needs, provide instruction and explain policies.

Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments|projects and respond to numerous requests;  ability to resolve conflicts among staff and to work collaboratively with department director, physicians and other members of the healthcare team;  ability to ensure operational efficiency;  ability to problem solve and make decisions;  ability to exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and|or conflicting demands from multiple customers.

Must possess the ability to remain calm in tense, conflicting or stressful situations. Polished presence, professional, positive attitude.
