Job Title: Physician / Rheumatology

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Rheumatology - Immediate need for a Rheumatologist to join a multi specialty group. Lets discuss

The physician will assist with clinical duties including patient consultations, office visits and triage phone calls, and general rheumatology work. Base salary plus benefits package available that includes RVU bonuses, coverage of malpractice and health insurance, allowance for professional fees and licensing, and paid time off. Pay will be a salary between $170-$230k DOE plus an RVU bonus and benefits on top of that.
Reporting Relationships
The physician will report directly to the medical director for assignments, consultation, and staffing and will work closely with other medical, mental health, laboratory, and administrative staff as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Deliver quality care to patient
? Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care
? Stay abreast of developments in rheumatology medicine and regularly communicate relevant information to other providers in the center
? Be available for consultation to caregivers for routine care and for emergent medical problems
? Participate in meetings as appropriate and|or as requested by the medical director
Other Duties and Responsibilities
? Intake and assessment of new patient
? Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated
? Create a plan of care|treatment plan for new patients
? Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups
? Manage an appropriate caseload including paperwork
? Prescribe appropriate medications to assist in treatment as indicated by intake|assessment
? Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care
? Work collaboratively with outside providers
? Order and analyze appropriate laboratory tests, when indicated
? Facilitate educational groups
? Travel to assigned sites
? Maintain confidentiality
? Attend staff meetings
