FAMILY MEDICINE FORT DODGE IOWA
•Established Practice
•Outpatient practice with optional inpatient work
•Current number of providers: 7 total which consists of 4 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
•Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical
•Flexible schedule; 36 patient contact hours
Practice Details:
•Average # of patients per day: 20-25
•Clinic Hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
•Optional inpatient work: ?If desired, you can round on your own pediatric inpatients, otherwise a Pediatrician is responsible for inpatient duties
•24|7 Hospitalist Program is responsible for adult inpatient duties
•Clinic is connected to the hospital so many services and specialists are onsite
•Afterhour outpatient call is split 1:5 and triaged first through the MyNurse call system (average # of calls per night: 0-3 )
•General family medicine procedures (joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.)
