Clinical Laboratory Technologist Opening at one of upstate New York's top hospitals! This hospital is known for its health research programs as well as specialty programs that consistently rank among the best in the nation. Among those services are organ transplant, trauma and burn care, neonatal intensive care unit, comprehensive neuromedicine, cardiology and cancer service.
This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time clinical laboratory technologists on a varied shift for their chemistry department! The Technologist is responsible for the timely and accurate test analysis using moderately complex methods and|or instrumentation. Reporting of results for patient samples is often interpretive in nature. They are also responsible for instrument maintenance|standardization, daily quality control and adherence to all laboratory policies.For consideration, applicants MUST have his or her NYS license in addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology (or related field). MT, MLS ASCP certification also strongly preferred.
