(Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice - A physician owned and directed integrated Multi-Specialty Group Practice that offers high quality healthcare solutions from several locations south of Boston, Massachusetts; is affiliated with Steward Healthcare and offers outstanding patient care and technology within Primary Care, Urgent Care and Ancillary Care is seeking an experienced Family Practice | Internal Medicine Physician to join their Outpatient Primary Care Team

Provide the full scope of primary care services to patients, including but not limited to diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, preventive care and health maintenance, and coordination of care. Physician will generally have a focus on either internal medicine or family medicine.

Conduct physical exams, order and|or perform laboratory and diagnostic tests, and make clinical judgments regarding results. Participate in the development of a comprehensive plan of care for each patient. Initiate appropriate consultations, referrals, and Emergency Department transfers.

Provide health information and teaching with emphasis on prevention and curative treatment. Act as primary care resource to the assigned multidisciplinary team. Participate in educational activities with nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical students. Document History & Physical, assessment, and treatment intervention in medical record. Physician also assesses health risks, promotes and provides disease prevention, and practices evidenced based medicine.

Requirements: Qualified candidates should be board-certified|board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine. Must possess a valid medical license. Demonstrated ability to use medical record systems to thoroughly and properly document patient visits.
