(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Mental Health Counselor/Therapist - A non-profit agency comprised of a culturally diverse team of caring individuals that has provided family preservation, behavioral health services and other family supports to families and individuals in 11 Oregon counties for over 25 years is seeking a Mental Health Clinician.

The Mental Health therapist provides individual and family therapy, group therapy to children, families and adults, and may also provide case management and consultation with PCPs, schools, DHS Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency programs, and other community partners.
Interview client to obtain information concerning family history or other assessment information. Conduct mental health assessments for children and adults, including DSM-V diagnosis. Provide therapy and case management services in the office, schools, communities, or in the client’s home. Develop and implement treatment plans, defining specific goals and objectives, and revise as needed.

Some evening and weekend hours will be required. Eligible clients may be self-referred or referred by schools, County Mental Health, DHS Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency, or the client’s PCP. Authorization for services may be required from the Coordinated Care Office (CCO) or other payer sources. May be on staff rotation to work evenings and weekend hours providing on-call home-based crisis support for the Children and Adolescents Mental Health Crisis Response Program.

Qualifications: Master’s or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field. Knowledge and|or experience providing mental health services, including assessment and diagnosis, to children, families and adults. Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and be eligible for licensure
