Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Lafayette, LA    (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Acute & Critical Care-NP - We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant for a Private Neurosurgery Practice to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Patient base is 100% adults.
Work 2-3 days in the clinic seeing patients with the doctor and 2 days making rounds at the hospital.

Duties Include:
• Perform physical examinations
• Record patient histories
• Ttake blood
• Administer IVS and injections
• Conduct diagnostic tests
• Dispense medications
• Educate patients and their families
• Perform specific neurosurgical procedures, like the insertion of lumbar drains and arterial catheters, and the reprogramming of shunts


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, APRN or Physician assistant in the state of Louisiana
• Licenses & Certifications
• Minimum
• If Nurse Practitioner:
• list of 2 items
• • Active APNP or APRN license in State of Louisiana
• • Active board certification as an NP in Acute Care.

• If Physician Assistant:
• list of 2 items
• • Active PA license in State of Louisiana
• • Active PA board certification

• All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:

• • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
• • CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP)

• • Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, management of acute and chronic patient|family Neurosurgery
• health problems, and knowledge|application of evolving Comprehensive Stroke Care standards
• Ability to care for acutely and chronically ill patients and their families who may have a spectrum of Neurosurgical problems

• Possess the requisite knowledge and clinical skills to provide care to the Young Adult, Adult and Geriatric age groups

• Competitive compensation of
Nurse Practitioner $113,000 Package

• Physician Assistant $123,000 Package
• Taking Call is Every 4 - 5 Weekend an additional $18,000 Pay In The Package For Taking Call
• Full Benefit Package, Paid Vacation, Sick Days, Paid Malpractice Insurance

Hours Of Operation are:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
2 -3 Days In The clinic and 2 Days making rounds at the hospital. Great Hours

Taking Call is Every 4 - 5 Weekend

Clinic Is Tuesday and Thursday They Will Help Me With The Patients - We
