Job Title: VP Quality of Care - Senior Living

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Hospital/Clinic - CEO/CFO/COO/Exec - Vice President of Quality Care needed for an outstanding senior living community in California. This position oversees all community clinical care initiatives and programs. Candidate must be an RN and licensed (or will be licensed) in California.

• Serve as an expert resource for community Resident Services Directors and Executive Directors in providing safe, compliant and profitable operations through review of care programs.
• Responsible for updating and providing ongoing training, and auditing of resident assessments to ensure appropriate and timely documentation is in place and billing is accurate for the services being provided.
• Develop clinical initiatives with input from the VP of Operations to further enhance the quality services to current and future residents.
• Maintain a professional, supportive and positive working relationship with each Community and work as a team with the Regional Director of Quality Care, the Regional Director of Operations and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

• Current, valid California RN license.
• Minimum seven years demonstrated management and supervising experience, including hiring, training, coaching and counseling.
• Minimum five years, multi-site experience required, preferably in a regional capacity.
• Current RCFE (CA) certificate, required.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing training programs.
• Deep understanding of California state regulations pertaining to assisted living.
• Able to bring best practices and procedures forward to senior living communities.
• Highly knowledgeable regarding Illnesses and ailments common among seniors.
• Understanding of basic psychological, behavioral, sociological and cultural factors when working with seniors.
• Able to use standard business software, including MS Windows, MS Office Suite and Google Apps.
• Able to read, analyze, interpret and apply State regulations.
• Able to establish workload priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple projects and needs.
• Able to apply sound, creative problem solving techniques to resolve issues and problems.
• Ability to travel on a regular basis with overnight stays in locations outside of the home office as needed to include locations in California.
