NEW Laboratory Supervisor Opening at a non-profit, community-based organization that provides blood and blood components to hospitals, physicians and patients throughout Northern California. This laboratory is also known for conducing medical research that improves blood safety and patient care.
This fully accredited laboratory is looking to hire a permanent, full time, Laboratory Supervisor. The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the testing of biological specimens and reviewing test results and quality assessment data. This position is also responsible for providing skilled technical oversight in the laboratory. To be considered for this position, applicants MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science in addition to his or her California State license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist OR an Immunohematology Laboratory Scientist. Lastly, SBB or BB Certification preferred. Applicants ideally should have at least 2 years of experience in either a hospital based blood bank or reference laboratory.
