Medical Group located in Eastern North Carolina is seeking a neurohospitalist to join its hospital based stroke neurology service. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in neurology. Vascular Fellowship training is preferred. The Medical Center is a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center accredited.
Opportunity Highlights:
• Hospital privileges at a 974-bed level 1 trauma center
• Established multidisciplinary team including 8 neurosurgeons, 11 neurologists, a neurointensivist, a neuro-oncologist, 3 stroke neurohospitalists and an interventional neurologist starting summer 2019
• Dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeon
• 7 on 7 off or 14 consecutive
• 100% inpatient
• Consultative service
• 24 bed Neurocritical Care Unit
