(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Highly regarded non-profit organization which provides a comprehensive patient-centered continuum of care is seeking an experienced adult psychiatric nurse practitioner.
The nurse practitioner provides mental health evaluations, assessments and treatment plans to adults in a day treatment program, with mental health, dual diagnosis and substance use disorders. Provide medication mgmt. and consultations. Works in a collaborative practice model, communicates with patients and families concerning changes to plan of care. Practitioners caseload fluctuates (depending on program need) and is usually 15 – 20 patients.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work with a supportive team including psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, addiction specialists, mental health counselors, licensed social workers, , psychologists, physicians, and nurses. Monday through Friday 8am to 430pm, no evenings, weekends or call.
