Ridgefield, Connecticut

A Home Care Facility in Ridgefield, Connecticut is seeking a Hospice Clinical Supervisor | Registered Nurse (RN), to join their team. They would be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight and management of the Hospice staff. In order to ensure the highest level of compliance and patient care, responsibilities will include clinical oversight, implementation and ongoing assessment of the hospice Plan of Care for patients, patient advocacy, monitoring patient|family satisfaction, data collection and assessment, production of reports and quality improvement initiatives, compliance with state and federal regulations, and ongoing education and evaluation of Hospice staff and volunteers, including those provided directly and by contract. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in hospice management.

Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse (RN) | Clinical Supervisor | Hospice:

The starting salary range for this position is $95,000 - $98,000 | yr.
This is a Full-Time position.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) | Clinical Supervisor | Hospice:

Must have an active RN Connecticut State License
Two years of Hospice Management experience preferred
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) | Clinical Supervisor | Hospice:

Oversee assignments of cases to staff, schedules expanded hours staff and supervisor on call schedule. Responsible for maintaining staff productivity and determining when to call in additional staff.
Coordinate and manage all services rendered to clients and families by professional hospice nursing staff ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. Responsible for staff education and competency.
Provide direct care to clients as appropriate. Share responsibility for on-call supervision with other clinical staff.
Maintains compliance with all applicable federal and state hospice rules and regulations.
Ensures that all written policies and procedures are established and implemented by the hospice in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Ability to establish respectful, positive working relationships with other employees and volunteers in the delivery of client services.
