Our clinic seeks an Office Manager who is friendly, reliable, and organized. The Office Manager will be the leader in the day-to-day operation of the office and will be in charge of a wide range of tasks from handling insurance to making sure the team resources necessary for the smooth running of the practice. You will be working with a team of supportive doctors and hygienists to provide top of the line dental service in a professional environment.
Skills Requirements
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently with other staff members.
• Knowledge and experience working with dental insurances in Massachusetts
• Demonstrated ability to solve common problems and to provide immediate solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Positive and dedicated work ethic and takes initiative to excel in their given role
• Excellent phone and email manner
• Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
• Excellent organizational skills to effectively multitask skills
• Must be computer and tech savvy
• Punctual and committed to their weekly schedule
• All of the tasks of the Front Desk Staff
• Be aware of the patient schedule and each staff’s duties to ensure smooth running of the operation
• Manage employee relations and make certain staff have the necessary resources and support
• Respond to office needs and resolve issues and concerns for the team as they come up throughout the day
• Take initiative to improve patient care and relationships
• maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA
• Inventory and expense management – ensure vendor invoices match with orders received and monthly statements, maintain proper inventory levels of dental office consumables, price shopping for various supplies and equipment and more.
• Review billing and deposits at the end of each day and cross check with the financial record to ensure collections are accurate
• Other ad hoc administrative tasks
• Dental front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
