Ideal Candidate is extremely friendly and personable with exceptional in-person and on-the-phone communication skills.
The candidate should enjoy working with others and value a team-oriented approach to taking care of patients.
The candidate should be a quick learner for using patient scheduling software. Some understanding of medical and or optometric | ophthalmic billing would be extremely helpful. We rely heavily on these staff for getting patients into and out of the office in a kind, courteous, and timely manner.

Ideally, our hire would truly have a heart for people, and be motivated by their role in helping someone in need.


Experienced Front Desk position for a fast-paced Ophthalmology
practice located in suburban Bala Cynwyd.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments,
verifying insurance, answering telephones, and collecting payments.
We plan to teach technical skills that would enable this employee to
perform testing and patient workups in the future. Candidate must be
detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, a willingness to learn,
and an understanding of the teamwork necessary to interact with
medical professionals, fellow employees and patients.
Full time position in an excellent working environment..with good
benefits, including health insurance, flexible spending plan, profit
sharing, and 401K.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments,
verifying insurance, answering telephones, and collecting payments.
Candidate will work 40 of those hours (e.g. 5 days, 8 hours or 4 days 10 hours)

12. Salary (range):
18-22 hourly (flexible) depending on experience, skillset, etc. Moderate advancement soon after hire depending on performance, etc.

13. Bonus compensation:
Bonuses have typically been 1000 $ | year

Vacation:
2 weeks in the first year with increase to 3 weeks typically in the first few years

Options for HMO or PPO. Coverage starts with hiring date.
