Position Title: Medical Director
Position-Shift: Full-time Monday-Friday (three days telemedicine and two days onsite)

Call Schedule: None
Position Salary: Starting negotiations at 250k plus a full comprehensive benefits package

Position Summary
This position evaluates and treats children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. 80% of the time is dedicated to the treatment of patients and 20% is dedicated to administrative duties. Initial evaluations are not less than 60 minutes and follow-up visits vary between 15-30 minutes based on the patient’s age and complexity of the case.

Responsibilities:

Provide evaluation, diagnostic and therapeutic services for the community mental health center.
Confer with the patient and|or patient’s family or representative regarding illness and treatment.
Consult with medical specialists, psychologists, mental health professionals, social workers, and others in organizations regarding aspects of patient care.
Assist with the development and implementation of medical and related protocols, programs, and|or policies.
Provide supervision and|or peer review and ongoing education to other professional staff members
Suggest and|or participate in training or other related educational and informational forums to address health conditions.
Minimum Qualifications Required:

Board Certification American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
MD|DO with a minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship trained a plus but not required
Ability to verbally communicate with patients and staff, and document communications effectively.
Demonstrated competence as evidenced by no disciplinary or performance problems.
Knowledgeable of current medications and side effects.
Shall demonstrate competence in gathering and interpreting information about mental health and substance abuse disorders.
Other Certifications|Licenses not included above:

Holds a Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain
