THE LOCATIONS: Grants Pass and Ashland, Oregon
Ready for a change? We have excellent full time opportunities available for physician assistants to join our orthopedic teams in Ashland and Grants Pass, Oregon. The focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care and the employer is very stable and well established. An excellent mentoring environment is available and there is plenty of room for professional growth and advancement. This team currently consists of 3 board certified orthopedic surgeons and an excellent support staff. Job responsibilities include providing clinical office visit support, following up with MRI results, administering joint injections, applying casts and splints, providing post operative care, rounding on hospital patients, covering ER and office call and assisting in surgical procedures. 40% of responsibilities are inpatient and 60% are outpatient.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
-Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical medicine is required
-Orthopedic training is preferred
-Current and unrestricted Oregon PA license (or eligible) is required
-Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association
-Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
-Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
-Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
