(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Urgent Care-NP - We are currently seeking to hire a Nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy Urgent Care.
Treat both Children and adults.
No new graduates, must be experienced with 2 + years as a nurse Practitioner.

Location West Valley City, UT

Perks and Benefits:
• Competitive compensation of $65.00 to $70.00 an hour
• Full Benefits package.

Hours of operation are:
• Clinic hours of operation is 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Schedule will be 14 shifts per month 12 hours each which will give 15 days off each month. Excellent for summer months.

Qualifications:
• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice; in the state of Utah
• 2+ years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a private practice or hospital setting
• Adept at diagnosing problems and creating treatment plans for patients
• Highly computer literate and familiar with charting
• Excels in communicating sensitive and|or adverse information
• Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
• Analytical thinker and complex problem-solving skills

Job Responsibilities
• Treat minor illnesses.
• Suture and splint injuries.
• Perform minor procedures such as removing nails, screws or metal from hands.
• Obtain and legibly recording a detailed medical history of each patient including, but not limited to, the patient's chief complaint, his|her
present condition, the patient's individual history and his|her family history.
• Perform as indicated, complete physical examinations of each patient including, but not limited to, examination of the head, eyes, ears, nose,
throat, abdomen; and all systems of the body including but not limited to, the circulatory, reproductive and nervous system.
• Analyze reports and|or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing his|her injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
• Effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare staff to manage patient care
• Refer the patient to other physicians or appropriate resources when and if needed
• Prescribe medication and treatment for the patient and recommending appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for prevention of disease
and maintaining personal hygiene
• Perform all services in the Agreement in a manner that is consistent with the standards of medical practice in the community.
• Perform such clinical procedures as are consistent with Physician's prior practice patterns and trainings.
• When and if needed, performing or supervising various invasive medical procedures that include, but are not limited to, the injection of medications,
inoculations, and vaccinations.
• Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered.
• Prepare and attend to all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary and appropriate to the performance of the professional services and ensure
that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations
• Timely reporting births, deaths, outbreak of contagious diseases and other information required to appropriate governmental authorities and as
required for THE "CORPORATION's" reporting
