We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a Certified Rural Health Clinic for a 6 month contract assignment in Crystal City, TX immediate need and ongoing for 5-6 months. The clinic would consider either experienced Providers or new graduates. The Provider should that feel comfortable working independently with a physician back-up via phone. The clinic hours are Mon-Fri (8:30am-5:00pm). The patient and payor mix is diverse and predominately consists of Medicaid and Indigent Care with patients often presenting with routine illnesses and injuries as well as chronic medical problems including Diabetes, Hypertension and COPD. The patient volume would be 18-20 patients per day with an experienced and stable support staff and EMR. Competitive compensation package $80 per hour with malpractice coverage for a 5-6 month assignment. We can structure it as 1099 or work corp- to corp. This is perfect for an experienced provider looking for interim work or a new graduate seeking their first provider position but is not ready to commit to full time employment.
