(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist - This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Med Tech.
Job Description:
- Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratory
- Assists in instructing other personnel as assigned
- Performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Show competency in performing testing procedures
- Effectively use laboratory equipment
- Perform and evaluate Quality Control Program
- Assist with laboratory training program
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree
- NCA, ASCP, HEW or AMT certified
- 1 year general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training program
