A nationally-ranked 150-bed hospital is actively hiring a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for the DAY shift. This organization offers competitive pay rates, long-term career development, and an excellent employee benefits package! Here is more information about the position:
Job Description:
- Day shift: Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm)
- Produces and evaluates ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
- Must acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care including the injection of contrast media where applicable and institute life saving measures.
- Performs complete study including M-MODE, REAL TIME, COLOR FLOW MAPPING and DOPPLER.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Registry preferred, or Registry eligible within 1 year of hire
- Prior experience preferred
