Job Title: Primary Care Practice Acquisition

1 hr South of Wilkes-Barre,, PA (Physician/MD qualifications required) Internal Medicine - Seeking one or two skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physicians (or Family Practice and Pediatrics) to acquire a lucrative private practice where the physician owner would like to retire. Terms and set-up are very flexible. Name your preference and we will work with you. There is little to no competition in the surrounding area.
As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases and conditions. This is a full-time position with very competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical evidence
- Provide acute care for patients with complex medical conditions
- Perform procedures such as catheterization and minor surgical interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Offer some addiction counseling and behavioral health support
- Provide hospice palliative medicine for terminally ill patients
- Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs
- Oversee the care of patients in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
Experience:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of test results
- Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine principles
- Ability to provide acute care for complex medical conditions
