Full-Time

Schedule|Location: This position will work flexible hours and travel to other locations which includes SF Mission Bay, SF China Basin.

Work hours and days are variable 7 days a weeks, 8 hour and 10 to 12 hour days, including evening weekends and graveyard shift. Includes shift and weekend differentials.

Summary:
Under the direction of technical supervisor, the ARRT certified, California-licensed technologist performs radiologic procedures in assigned areas at a safe and technical level not requiring constant supervision. Tech will perform safe imaging procedures on all emergent, inpatient and outpatient age-specific populations. Diagnostic procedures include, but are not limited to, basic radiographic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment in various settings such as Outpatient|Inpatient, OR|Hybrid, ER, fluoro and Endoscopy.

Performs various radiographic exams and processes images on various archival systems. Professionally accountable for submitting high-quality images to PACS. Participates in performance improvement activities in the department. Demonstrates excellent customer service to patients. Correctly identifies patients for the procedures performed and their respective images. Follows Infection Control policies, radiation policies and good body mechanics. Maintains appropriate continuing education credits. Complies with all Medical Center and Department policies and procedures. Requires ARRT, CRT and California fluoroscopy license.

Qualifications:
• 2+ to 5 years experience
• Requires ARRT Licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent.
• Requires CRT Licensure
• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to assist at any of the Medical Center locations
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under any workload and|or patient volume
• Knowledge of related Radiology systems

Compensation:
• Base Salary - $133,000 to $165,000
