We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our well-established integrative wellness center in midtown Manhattan, NY. Come work with a diverse team in a growing and welcoming office that focuses on high quality patient care. As an Occupational Therapist in our multi-specialty care setting, you'll have access to a large integrated team that provides comprehensive care for the patients. In this position, we are looking to add medical massage services to our clinic, so we are looking for an OT with special interest in massage and manual therapy to launch the program. Our Wellness Center has a multidisciplinary team that collaborates to provide our patients with a complete approach to healthcare, teaming up to ensure that we can address our patient’s health and wellness concerns. Our model has a team of Medical, Wellness and Lifestyle experts in one location- with medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, as well as stress management counseling. We have a tradition of offering welcoming services and comfort, and our team is compassionate, caring, engaging, and takes every opportunity to “wow” patients at each visit.
Duties:
• Perform initial exams|consultations and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging|documents|reports)
• Evaluate findings, develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
• Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and benefits of continued care
• Treatment- rehab and various manual therapies, massage and modalities
• Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
• Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
• Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Occupational Therapy license in NY
• Special interest in massage and manual therapy
Schedule:
• Part time with the potential to go full time depending on services|treatments rendered
Salary (range):
• $50-$60|hr
