Redding, CA     Family Nurse Practitioner Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team at a small rural hospital in Northern California. As an FNP, you will play a vital role in providing primary care services to individuals and families in our community. Responsibilities:•Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. •Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions. •Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies. •Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families. •Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate, adhering to state regulations and hospital protocols. •Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices. •Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including specialists, to ensure holistic and integrated patient care. •Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. •Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. •Stay current with advances in healthcare practices and regulations through continuing education and professional development activities. Qualifications:•Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. •Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from a recognized certifying body. •Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of California. •Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an FNP, preferably in primary care or a similar setting. •Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. •Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care. •Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. •Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping. •Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. •Willingness to reside in or relocate to the rural Northern California area.
