Certified Surgical Technologist Qualifications: •Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program •Certified as a Surgical Technologist - CST •Experience in the OR preferred. •Acute Care or Hospital experience preferred. Certified Surgical Technologist What you will do: •Set up and sterilize the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are ready and sterile. •Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by passing instruments, handling specimens, and managing sterile fields. •Position and drape patients on the operating table, ensuring comfort and maintaining sterile conditions. •Monitor and maintain sterile instrument and supply counts to prevent loss or contamination. •Provide support to the surgical team by anticipating needs and responding quickly during procedures. •Assist in transferring patients to recovery areas and help clean and prepare the operating room for subsequent procedures. •Follow all safety protocols, infection control practices, and regulations to ensure a safe and sterile environment. •Record pertinent information during procedures, including counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
