Omaha, NE    Orthopedic Physician AssistantFull-Time / Competitive Pay Physician Assistant Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic orthopedic team. In this role, you will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will assist in surgeries, perform diagnostic tests, manage patient care, and contribute to the overall success of our orthopedic department. Physician Assistant Key Responsibilities: •Conduct initial patient assessments, including history and physical exams. •Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room with surgical procedures. •Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients, including education and follow-up management. •Perform diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and joint injections, and interpret results. •Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions such as fractures, arthritis, and musculoskeletal injuries. •Prescribe medications and manage pain control for patients. •Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation plans. •Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations. •Participate in orthopedic rounds and assist with patient care as needed. Physician Assistant Qualifications: •Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field. •Current Physician Assistant licensure. •Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). •BLS/ACLS certification (required). •Previous experience in orthopedic care preferred but not required. •Excellent communication, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. •Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment. •Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
