DeKalb, IL    Nuclear Medicine Technologist Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Sign-On Bonus Available Are you a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist looking to take the next step in your career? MLR is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our dynamic healthcare team. Qualifications and Requirements: •Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with a certificate or degree. •Illinois Nuclear Medicine (IEMA) license. •Certification with ARRT(NM) or NMTCB. •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. •Preferred: One (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Key Responsibilities: •Perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT, PET, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid uptake studies. •Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely following hospital protocols. •Operate advanced imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners, to capture high-quality diagnostic images. •Monitor patient well-being throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. •Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate and timely imaging results. •Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedure details, and radiopharmaceutical usage. •Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself from unnecessary exposure. •Ensure imaging equipment is clean, functional, and promptly report any technical issues. •Educate patients on procedures and address any questions or concerns. •Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine and participate in continuing education to enhance skills.
