Kingsland, GA    Ultrasound Team Lead MLR is collaborating with a well-respected healthcare system to recruit a dedicated Ultrasound Team Leader. This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position is ideal for an experienced ultrasound technologist ready to step into a leadership role. As the Ultrasound Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the ultrasound department, ensuring the delivery of top-tier patient care and high-quality imaging services. Job Summary: •Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the scheduling, workflow, and efficiency of the ultrasound department, ensuring timely patient care and seamless operations. •Perform Advanced Ultrasound Imaging: Conduct advanced ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and accurate results. •Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide precise and timely diagnostic information. •Maintain Equipment and Safety Protocols: Ensure all ultrasound equipment is maintained properly and that safety protocols and regulatory standards are consistently followed. •Lead and Mentor the Team: Supervise, mentor, and train ultrasound technologists, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development. •Quality Control and Improvement: Implement and monitor quality control measures, contributing to the department’s performance improvement initiatives and ensuring high standards of care. Ultrasound Team Lead Qualifications: •Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. •Certification: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or equivalent certification is required. •Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered ultrasound technologist. •Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
