Orrtanna, PA    Physical Therapist (PT) Shift: Days - 8am-4:30, Monday-Friday Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: MLee Healthcare is seeking a talented and empathetic Physical Therapist to join our growing team. Physical therapists (PTs) are healthcare professionals who assess and treat individuals across all age groups, addressing medical conditions or health-related issues that restrict movement and functional abilities in daily life. PTs evaluate each patient and devise personalized treatment plans using therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also collaborate with patients on proactive fitness and wellness programs to promote healthier lifestyles and prevent mobility issues. PTs practice in diverse settings such as hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports facilities, workplaces, and nursing homes. State licensure is mandatory for practicing physical therapy in each respective state. Key Responsibilities: •Assess patients' medical histories and conditions to determine the best course of treatment. •Develop personalized treatment plans that address patients' needs and goals. •Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to aid in patient recovery. •Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, exercises, and home care techniques. •Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed to achieve therapeutic goals. •Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. •Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes. •Adhere to ethical and legal standards of professional practice and comply with regulatory requirements. Qualifications: •Physical Therapy License is required •2 years experience required •Epic experience required
