Ballinger, TX    Registered Nurse MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a dedicated full-time Nursing Specialist to join a dynamic team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas! Salary Range: $65,540 - $90,320 annually Core Responsibilities: Patient Evaluation and Communication: Assess patients’ health and address any questions or concerns they may have. Detailed Medical Documentation: Maintain thorough records of patient histories, symptoms, and current health status for complete documentation. Procedure Preparation: Ensure patients are informed, comfortable, and prepared for exams or treatments. Shift Details: Night shifts, Monday through Friday. Medication and Treatment Administration: Dispense prescribed medications and treatments, carefully monitoring for any adverse effects. Collaborative Care Planning: Partner with healthcare professionals to create and update individualized care plans for each patient. Wound Care: Perform wound cleaning and dressing changes to promote proper healing. Assistance During Procedures: Provide support to the medical team during various procedures as necessary. Operation and Maintenance of Medical Equipment: Ensure medical devices are operating correctly and monitor them during patient care. Specimen Collection: Gather blood, urine, and other samples for lab testing as required. Education for Patients and Families: Explain treatment plans in detail to patients and their families, addressing any questions. Oversight of Support Staff: Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, and nursing students to support effective patient care.Qualifications: •RN License •CPR-BCLS Certification •ACLS Certification (required within 6 months for C4 units) •NRP Certification (required within 6 months for C4 and Labor & Delivery units) •PALS or ENPC Certification (required within 18 months for Pediatric units) Ready to make a difference?
